Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Course
The following skills are covered in our basic riding course:
- Motorcycle Familiarization
- Shifting Gears
- Starting and Stopping
- Quick Stop
- Turning and Cornering
- Swerving
Course Requirements
Class participants must be at least 16 years of age to enroll and have written parental consent if under 18. Proper protective riding gear is required, which includes:
- DOT-Approved 3/4 or Full-Faced Helmet (Loan Helmets Are Available)
- Long Pants with No Holes, Rips, or Tears
- Sturdy, Over-the-Ankle Footwear
- Jacket or Long-Sleeved Shirt
- Full-Fingered Gloves
- Protective Eyewear
Our motorcycle lessons take place on the weekend for your convenience. All courses start promptly at the designated time, and there is no grace period. Please allow ample driving time to ensure your prompt arrival. No refunds or reschedules are available or allowed. Please call us if you have any questions.
Classes are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday. They start promptly at 8:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. Two weeks before your class, you will receive an email with your online course, which must be completed before the first day of training.
